The Solid Brass Dove Bowl takes the same dove-in-flight shape as its matching taper holder and turns it into a small, shallow catchall instead of a candle base, cast in solid brass with real weight in hand despite its compact size. At just over 4 inches wide and 2 inches tall, it holds rings, matches, a handful of ornament hooks, or nothing at all – it works just as well empty, left out as a small sculptural object on a shelf or mantel.
We designed it as a companion to the matching Solid Brass Dove Taper Holder, so the pair can sit together for a coordinated vignette, or apart if you'd rather each stand on its own in a different spot in the house. Solid brass gives it the same substantial feel as the rest of this collection's brass pieces – heavier than it looks, built to last well past one holiday season.
Dust it with a soft cloth to keep the finish looking good, and set it wherever a small catchall dish would actually get used: an entryway table, a nightstand, or right beside its matching taper holder on the mantel.
